I am not sure if this makes me giddy, pissed off or simply BLAH! And I promise, I am going to make this short...(sure you are Daniella) So, last week I wrote about our Health district's attempt to make mask wearing mandatory in our community. We have had ONE "alleged" COVID DEATH; an older gentleman with other health issues in a county with a population of 166,000 people. And, just as other places are seeing, a spike in positives but drastically low death rates, and it appears that this virus has downgraded to less than a tropical storm. Most folks I have spoken with have likened it to a nasty summer cold lasting 5-7 days.
Last week, the mask mandate was not implemented because no one would "second" the vote so it was tabled for today. And then there is our obviously, left leaning city council (who knew) who basically said, if the Health Dept. won't issue a mandate, WE WILL! That is where we are right now! One death since this entire shabang began, lots more test--for what I don't really know...and questionable results. Ironically, no one in the health Dept. questions the POSITIVE results, just the NEG. And holy wow, the same person can test + several times and, whoooWEEEE each test, on the SAME PERSON gets toe-tagged into the padded morgue of deception, which we know will NEVER be exhumed and examined...because, DUH, SCIENCE! But wait, there's more! While local government "entities" are desperately trying to FORCE citizens to wear masks, at the White House it's like a party! Masks? We don't need no stinkin masks! Social distancing? Buwwwwhaahaahaa, Shut the Front Door! It's like, look here people, RIGHT HERE gathered together...politicians, media monsters, socialites and cowboy hats all whooping it up after President Trump's speech.

Rolling back the regulations! Yep, Trump said it and wasn't it just awesome to see all these in attendance acting like NORMAL people? No masks, no holding back on the hugs or handshakes and no personal bubbles! Even our Governor received Kudos from the President.

Do you think this includes wearing masks? It was very clear that this "meeting" had everything to do with MONEY, especially STATE MONEY and recovery from that dastardly virus. I know, eyes can only pander so much, one needs the FULL FACE AFFECT to really make a point! We all know this. These people really can't be wearing masks, social distance and NOT HUG while trying to push national financial recovery, that would be just silly. NORMAL, yes, OLD NORMAL needed to be displayed. AND IT WAS ON FULL DISPLAY, with facial expression!
STOP NOW WITH THIS NONSENSE!
Is anyone wondering why, especially considering the drastic reduction in deaths from, ACTUAL COVID illnesses that this charade is starting all over again? Is it being played up by the positive tests and less sick people? Are local governments really trying to see JUST HOW STUPID their citizens are? I mean, is this like a CENSUS in ignorance? Or TOLERANCE? Whatever it is, it really needs to STOP. And just a shout-out to our Idaho Dept. of Health and the Coeur d'Alene, Idaho city council: You watch this video and YOU TELL ME and all the citizens of Idaho why you think that you have the intellect or the power to MANDATE us to wear masks or get fined $100 if we DON'T OBEY! Maybe you can ask our State Governor as well! WE WILL NOT COMPLY!
