People all across the globe intrust their health to their Doctors.  We respect their opinions and generally follow their medical advice...after all, THEY are Doctors and we are NOT!  Doctors in every corner of the world have take an oath to do NO HARM and their entire purpose is to help and heal a body whether physically or mentally.  Now the really interesting thing about the Hippocratic Oath that most people are unaware of is that the ancient Greek physician Hippocrates inspired a body of medical papers commonly called Of the Epidemics, and in this body of work is where this, "Practice two things in your dealings with disease: either help or do not harm the patient."  Epidemics, Book I, of the Hippocratic school.

There is much speculation as to who actually said what, and for this writing, I really don't care who said what...the point is the irony to which body of work this saying derives from; "OF THE EPIDEMICS."  Now, the fun of being a research writer is that I have the great joy of learning so much about whatever I am looking into and in this case I have fallen down the rabbit hole of the etymology of the word, epidemic...epidemios and the evolution of that word.  But for time sake and attention span realities, I am simply going to hop around with my original intentions of this discourse.  But come on, isn't it interesting that the book is called, "OF THE EPIDEMICS"?  

Practicing Medicine Without a License!

Samadi seems legit!  Like a "real" doctor!  

Ok, so back to my question...what if Dr. Samadi was my personal Doctor and the people at Facebook and Twitter are telling me that MY DOCTOR is not to be trusted and that he is disseminating LIES!  What if  this "warning" caused me to believe facebook and I stopped going to the doctor all together because, well...Facebook says that so many of them are Liars!  What if I had cancer and Dr. Samadi was treating me and I just stopped going...because LIES.  And what if the opinion of Facebook and Twitter caused me to distrust all doctors and I didn't treat my cancer and then died from it, would Facebook be liable?  Are they practicing medicine without a license?  Are they causing the death of THOUSANDS by persuading people that their doctors are lying to them?    

And it is not just Dr. Samadi that these Social Media gods are censoring...it is literally ANY DOCTOR, ANY SPECIALIST ANY EXPERT that opposes the narrative that Hydroxychloroquine  is dangerous...any expert that claims HDQ to be a life saving drug for those suffering from THE COVID...Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, etc seem to be acting like our personal Doctors, telling us what and who we should believe and what and who we shouldn't when it comes to our healthcare.  Is Mark Zuckerberg a Doctor? Does he employ a staff of doctors or medical experts that have the qualification and the malpractice insurance to emphatically state that all these doctors and medical experts are all lying?  Isn't Dr. Samadi qualified in his medical profession to make a statement regarding a particular drug?  

What about the Frontline doctors?  They are all experienced physicians and well respected by their peers as well as their patients. What type of damage, both mental and physical have these social media giants done to the patients of these doctors?  Facebook, Youtube and Twitter are flat out telling people, and more specifically patients of these doctors, "DO NOT LISTEN TO YOUR PHYSICIANS, THEY ARE LIARS!"  How can this possibly happen?  It seems to me that these media entities are practicing medicine without a license!  How else could they make a claim that these medical professionals are wrong unless they were doctors themselves?

Who are these Fact checkering "partners"?

We see Lead Stories is the number one fact checking "partner" and just up until quite recently they only had 2 employees.  Are they board certified doctors?  Do they have the credentials to CLAIM that Dr. Samadi is lying?  Do they even have the legal right to make such a claim.  But what if it was Science Feedback that censored Dr. Samadi?  Their site claims that they are a consortium of P.h.D's, scientists and doctors.  Now I don't know if that is true or not...just because it is on the internet doesn't make it true!  But let's just say they are and let's assume it was them who said Dr. Samadi was a liar and all the Frontline doctors were also liars; wouldn't this constitute a type of slander or libel?  All of these American doctors must have a combined doctor/patient relationship into the upper THOUSANDS!  How many people saw the "fact checking" greyed-out page that claims all these doctors were lying?   How many people went to youtube to see their doctor giving their professional opinion on hydroxychloroquine, only to see a black screen with the words, "This content has been removed for false information."  How did this affect them, mentally?  I would say, a GREAT DEAL!  But I am NOT a doctor.  If I were however, and Facebook was telling MY PATIENTS that I am a liar, there would be some serious hell to pay!  I would also hope that my patients filed a class action suit against any social media outlet that would slander me, not only jeopardizing my career, but tarnishing my good name and perhaps seriously harming my patients!  

WE KNOW THE AGENDA!

Who would have ever guessed that social media outlets like Facebook, Youtube and Twitter would wield more power than the Mainstream media does?  With one major difference.  The MSM tells us what to believe whereas the owners of social media stops us from seeing the truth.  Although their ultimate outcome is exactly the same...Progressive, Liberal, Socialist Propaganda.  Now regarding the use of HDQ to cure THE COVID is a prime example of how far these censors of the truth will go to push their political agenda's and their specific narratives.  Take the day President Trump had a press conference; one of his weekly Coronavirus updates and he talked about HDQ being used to treat the Coronavirus.  You see Trump has access to information all over the world...his medical teams, dept. of defense bio labs and heads of state.  Many medical professionals were sharing information regarding the use of Hydroxychloroquine with the Presidents medical staff.  They knew this drug worked because it had show great healing properties in 2005 when the original SARS-CoV came flying out of China: "Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) is an emerging disease that was first reported in Guangdong Province, "China, in late 2002. Results

We report, however, that chloroquine has strong antiviral effects on SARS-CoV infection of primate cells. These inhibitory effects are observed when the cells are treated with the drug either before or after exposure to the virus, suggesting both prophylactic and therapeutic advantage. In addition to the well-known functions of chloroquine such as elevations of endosomal pH, the drug appears to interfere with terminal glycosylation of the cellular receptor, angiotensin-converting enzyme 2. This may negatively influence the virus-receptor binding and abrogate the infection, with further ramifications by the elevation of vesicular pH, resulting in the inhibition of infection and spread of SARS CoV at clinically admissible concentrations.

Conclusion

Chloroquine is effective in preventing the spread of SARS CoV in cell culture. Favorable inhibition of virus spread was observed when the cells were either treated with chloroquine prior to or after SARS CoV infection. In addition, the indirect immunofluorescence assay described herein represents a simple and rapid method for screening SARS-CoV antiviral compounds.

The damage is being done!

This virus isn't new and there is an effective treatment that costs pennies to produce.  We really must wonder who is actually behind these Social Media Monsters...who is urging them to censor all the medical professionals who are trying to save lives with hydroxychloroquine?  Are these media outlets practicing medicine without a license by covering up and censoring MEDICAL information put out by reputable doctors, claiming their professional opinions and personal experience using this drug is a HOAX? Can they be sued for slander or liable.  We all know that this is political simply because Trump was the one who announced this drug to the world in connection to treating THE COVID.  Are people needlessly suffering and dying in the UNITED STATES because of politics.  In my personal opinion, YES!  

Here is the reality that these Social Media Monsters need to know.  There WILL be ramifications for their GROSS MISCONDUCT, there will be lawsuits from people who are currently being treated with Hydroxychloroquine that may stop taking their medication because Facebook, Youtube, Twatter have all claimed it to be a bad drug...they are irresponsibly claiming that medical professionals are liars even though they share their personal experiences and their professional opinions.  I can't wait to start reading about the lawsuit the little old lady in Roslyn, NY brings because she is now, too afraid to see her doctor because Facebook called him a FAKE! I look forward to seeing all the ramifications and legal suits that will be brought against these purveyors of social media.
