So, I'm scrolling through my Facebook feed this evening and I come across one of my friend's posts...let me digress a moment. This friend is a Conservative, Christian...never said a bad thing about anyone in her life type of person. So, here I am, staring at her post that looks like THIS--->
What in the world could my friend, like the sweetest lady who posts pics of her beautiful gardens, flowers and her fish pond have posted to get this type of Facebook warning?
Before I clicked on the "learn more" link, I see that the heading she posted said, "Praying at school" and below it was the original poster, Oklahoma Faith Leaders and Pawhuska High School.
I looked at the date, and realized it was the day of the "see you at the pole" prayer day. See You at the Pole (SYATP) is a national event where students gather at their school's flagpole to pray. The event is held on the fourth Wednesday in September. SYATP is a student-initiated, student-organized, and student-led global movement that began in 1990.
Ok, so now I am seriously confused. Was she she hacked and behind this warning, was I going to see something absolutely horrific?? Something that will forever be embedded in my Chrome browser?

so i clicked--learn more...

I knew wasn't like my friend to post anything immoral, violent or graphic, so with great trepidation I clicked. What in the world did my friend post??? It must be really bad to have TWO Facebook warning! Holy Cow! So, I clicked on the, "how we identify graphic content" link---->
Good Lord what in the world did my friend post? She must have gotten HACKED! I mean seriously, kids can read PORN in middle school, but this image is so graphic and so violent that kids can't see it? If kids can't see it, well, it must be really bad.

see photo!
Yup, I did it, I clicked to see the photo! Holding my breath to see mutilated puppies, dead burned bodies, gaping, bloody wounds or someone who had hung themselves...What absolutely horrific thing was I about to uncover that Facebook had to put, not one, but two warnings in my path? THIS!

I saw a bunch of kids in a parking lot in small groups. Maybe praying as it was at a high school on "See you at the Pole" day and you could tell by the trajectory of the sun that it was early in the morning when this event takes place at hundreds of schools across our Nation! So THIS was what Facebook was fearmongering people to not see. And even after I jumped through hoops, as per the Facebook caveats, NO ONE under 18 could view this image! I have to wonder was that the point? Not allowing high school kids to see all of these images of kids coming together to pray? Seriously, was that really their agenda? You tell me.
I went to the Oklahoma Faith Leaders page and all their pictures of kids praying at the event were there, but there were several people stating that when these images were shared they came with a Facebook covering, Violent or Graphic content.
THIS MUST STOP! STAND UP AND MAKE YOUR VOICES HEARD. THIS MUST STOP!
